On day-two of the 11th Annual International Crisis Management Conference, Alissa Stuckey, Sr. Vice President and head of Operational Resilience at M&T Bank, will present: Fortifying the Enterprise: Practical Paths to Operational Resilience.
In her session, Alyssa will explore what it takes to build operational resilience in a real-world environment where expectations are high, guidance is still developing, and there is no simple copy-and-paste model to follow. Her presentation will show that while the work can be challenging, it is not impossible.
Alyssa will also emphasize that operational resilience is an all-hazards discipline. While her experience comes from financial services, the core principles can be adapted across industries. What is built in one environment can often be applied in another with the right adjustments and understanding of each organization’s unique risks and requirements.
Attendees will gain practical insight into:
- How to approach operational resilience in a highly regulated environment
- How to build resilience programs when time, resources, and clear models are limited
- How to think about operational resilience as an adaptable, all-hazards framework across industries
The goal is to give attendees a more practical understanding of how operational resilience programs can be built, strengthened, and applied in ways that support long-term preparedness and organizational confidence.
In this short video, Alyssa discusses her background in operational resilience and business continuity, and what attendees can expect from her presentation.
