Melissa Agnes, author of “Crisis Ready,” delivered the keynote at the 3rd annual International Crisis Management Conference. During the presentation, “Build an Invincible Brand,” she discussed the steps to becoming Crisis Ready. The first step she discussed was choosing your lens.

“The lens through which we choose to see a negative event directly impacts the actions that we take in response to that event…which directly impacts the result that the event will have on our brand.”

Steps to becoming crisis ready:

  1.  Choose your lens
  2.  Take a 360 degree view
  3. Consider worst-case scenarios
