On day-two (October 6th) of the 6th Annual International Crisis Management Conference, Susan Shelby, FSMPS, CPSM, ABCP, president and CEO of Rhino Public Relations, will present: The Power of Post-Its™.
During her presentation, Susan will share her professional journey from selling life insurance door-to-door to running her own PR company. While a career in PR and marketing can feel like a roller coaster, Susan will share tips and tools she has embraced to stay focused, grounded, and moving towards new opportunities and challenges.
“I first attended an ICMC event in May 2019 and was very impressed with the caliber of the speakers and sessions. Since then, I have participated in several workshops on cyber response and operational resilience. Much of my education in crisis communications has come through ICMC so I was honored when they asked me to present at this year’s conference. I am looking forward to sharing my journey from door-to-door insurance sales to president and CEO of my own PR agency.”

Susan Shelby, FSMPS, CPSM, ABCP is the president and CEO of Rhino Public Relations, a full-service PR and marketing agency focused on meeting the unique needs of professional services firms and offering customized services based on each individual client’s goals and budget. Susan received the 2016 SMPS Boston Marketing Professional of the Year Award, which honors marketing excellence in the A/E/C industry. She received a Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from Boston University’s Metropolitan College and she is a certified Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) by the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII).
