On day-three (October 7th) of the 6th Annual International Crisis Management Conference, Lorraine Schneider, Founder & Executive Director of Emergency Management Growth Initiative, will present: Increasing the Visibility of Emergency Management.

During her presentation, Lorraine will discuss the complexities of Emergency Management, the diligence that goes on behind-the-scene, and the importance of expanding awareness and recognition of this important role during a crisis.

We are at an inflection point. COVID-19, climate change, devastating floods, and cyber threats are all pushing disasters to the forefront of public consciousness like never before. Now it is time for the emergency management profession to follow suit. Starting with ourselves, we need to build awareness for our role, reach beyond the traditional EM sphere, and mold the future of disaster preparedness and response.”
