Geopolitics is the intersection of geography, history, culture, and politics. Diplomacy is the art of managing relationships within the context of geopolitics. While most organizations do not have requirements to include either of these considerations in their simulation exercises, working with national governments or transnational non-governmental or private sector entities may include engaging objectives that involve geopolitical or diplomatic elements.
